As part of the preparation for the official launch of its holistic educational system and in compliance with its partnership with Gaia Education, JUA University is organizing an orientation webinar for stakeholders, facilitators, teachers, and staff members of the Ecovillage Design Education (EDE) program on July 26, 2026, at 7:30 AM (Kinshasa time).
This meeting constitutes an important step in the preparation for the implementation of the program ofEducation for the Design of Integrated Development(ECDI), certifiedÉducation à la conception d’écovillages(EDE), scheduled from November 15 to December 12, 2026.
The objective of this webinar is to prepare the facilitators and teachers for the implementation of the program.The text “EDE” is already in characters that do not form a specific French word. Could you please provide more context or verify the text?by allowing them to:
- understand the philosophy and structure of the Gaïa Education curriculum;
- to appropriate the pedagogical principles of the approachEcovillage Design Education(EDE);
- Harmonize the content of the different modules with the requirements of the international curriculum.
- Ensure consistency between the facilitators’ interventions around the four dimensions of sustainable development.
The webinar will bring together international experts, including Elisangela Rassoul (Mozambique),
Taisa Mattos (Brazil), Luc Lutala Kyadi (DRC), and Abdallah Khazeme (Algeria), who will share the fundamentals of the philosophy and pedagogy of the Gaia Education Curriculum.
Through this initiative, JUA University reaffirms its vision of a holistic and innovative education, capable of training committed actors in the building of sustainable and resilient communities for the transformation of territories.
